Moto was a 9 year run covering all the activities outside of those meetings. I quickly learned how much more effort was involved to produce and ship products. 20 years into my career, I thought I knew a lot but I wasn’t done with drinking from the fire hose!
The design team was fortunate to have strong relationships with executive leadership. This allowed us to develop progressive product experiences and go beyond the look and feel. We had a seat at the table.
It was a time of firsts and also a few big misses!

2006 - 2010: Sr. Director Design Strategy: Lead Design teams in collaboration with cross functional teams in the creation of future oriented concepts to front fill portfolio and develop new experience paradigms.
2008 - 2011: Led Design teams in everything but phones. Wearables, Headsets, Automotive, Personal Audio, Office connectivity
2011 - 2015: Senior Director Global Industrial Design: In addition to role above, I led the integration of the Motorola to Google transition in Sunnyvale CA. I also led first series of Moto/Google phones and motomaker.
